I agree with the plan that the route should just be published the day after, and then the reserves could head out on an independent plunder the night after?
Number limiting is a "good thing"™ as it ensures that the route can visit places that will be crowded, narrow or have many tight turns in sequence. If number limiting on some of these rides didn't exist the rides themselves would be untenable or would be forced to only use major roads and major spaces... which would suck.
So I have absolutely zero complaints, and total support for number limiting rides. But the routes could be shared so that the ride be repeated by those wanting to on subsequent nights so that everyone can do it.
