Hi, could you confirm the size of the frame? What's the effective TT?
-
• #10
i might be interested in just the wheels - how much would you let them go for?

TBH I wasn't considering selling the wheelset itself but i can think about it. Feel free to make a reasonable offer. Cheers

Guys, sorry for a bit of confusion. I found on the specialized Website in 2006 archive that they classified this langster as 58cm size. There was no sticker on the frame so i made a wrong size statement by declaring the real measurement of a frame. I apologize for the mistake and kindly ask our mods to change size in the title if possible. Many thanks and sorry for the confusion once again.

Sounds like it might be too big for me. I'm a short arse :)
Good luck selling it.

It somehow feels smaller than 58 to me when i ride it. I guess that is something that supported my wrong size apprehension in this case.

Sorry for the confusion again:-)
I have a bowery 08 black frame laying in my shed (called medium size by giant and recommended for riders 5ft 6 to 5ft11 , 51cm seat tube equivalent to 54cm due to slope top tube). If any good I can transfer all the stuff from langster to bowery.thank fuck it's now too big for me. i've been looking at it thinking, how can i get this one in to the house?

No longer available for sale
Hi all,
I got an 06 Langster , 58cm, effective seat tube measures 54cm but due to sloped geometry specialized calls it 58.
Frameset (frame+forks+headset) or complete bike for sale:
here are the pix:
Spec for the complete bike: Halo rear white flipflop (fixed/ free) wheel with 18t track cog, Alex black front wheel, michelin orium tyres, sugino rd-2 crank with truvativ 52t chainring, kmc track chain, shimy un-54 bb, ttt stem, alloy chopped risers with white clarks grips, kalin alloy seatpost, avocet saddle (banger saddle to be honest), tektro front caliper brake, basic pedals.
Everything is in good condition except the saddle which does the job but has a tear in the front end. Frame has smaller paint chips from locking here and there with no major defect.
230 GBP for the complete bike or 110 GBP for the frameset
Now the bad bit :-) I am not in London so either collection from Reading or postage by courier ( i guess around a tenner for the frameset or around 20 quid for the whole bike). I am happy to post abroad but I am not sure about the postage prices at the moment (can find out if needed, of course).
Any questions PM me.
Cheers
