  • Thank you guys for the interest.
    My heart is till broken..
I've tried to contact the guy on gumtree but he told me the it's gone..
If I cannot see "her" I can't proove anything.
I called him again now with a different number, but I've spoken just with his drunk girlfriend....
    So I'll call him later.
    I'll let you know..
    Thankyou again.

  • price raised to £260 at the moment, best of luck trying to get it back!

  • Really gutted for that lovely paddy wagon. have you seen and compared the pix on gumtree with your one? as far as i can see your pedals and stem are non standard ones. best of luck getting it back!

  • I am a bit confused. the pic on gumtree is exactly the same as in your post. is that a pic of your exact paddy or some other?

  • I've called again and the "paddy" is gone..
But He has got a Charge Plug..
    Anyone has got it stolen?

I think that in the next 6 months I'll stop, in a really polite way, every kona I'll see on the road... And I'm riding all the time... So I'll meet the kona family and may be I'll find mine...
    I don't give up.
    Many thanks to everyone
    Cheers

  • fingers crossed. i know how you feel from recent personal experience.

  • For the mistery of the picture:
I took th picture from internet, because as a stupid photographer as I am I've got no picture of my beloved......
    thanks

  • thank you

  • I'm soymilk flatmate... we don't have any pic of our bike.. we just pick the first pic on google where it was monuting the original parts.. the only things we have changed are the bartape, pedals, chain (and tyres)...
talkin about the "bolt" of the lock... we found a little piece of metal that was part of the metal inner covering of the metal cable they cut to steal the kona.

  • I understand now how that cunt got the pic on gumtree. don't get me wrong. in the future try to make sure you have reasonably good quality photos of your bike, your bike with yourself and the macrophoto of the bb shell where the frame number is. that's what according to the coppers in my city can help sometimes specially if you don;t have the bike shop purchase receipt (most cases on here where we build our bikes on our own) .

  • we still have the bike receipt with all the EVANS cycles instructions book as well as a copy of the frame number...

  • that is good as at least there won;t be any problem proving it's yours if coppers find it by a chance in some house raid. was your lock an abus steeloflex or something like that.

  • For who want help more a really distinctive thing if you can check it..
Below the bottom braket there is a label with a code: EN 14781
If you read it there are no doubts..
    Thanks

  • i think that label is just related to a current british standard for bike frames. the only thing that matters is the frame number itself

  • but as soymilk is telling me, he just need to smell the paddy to know if it truly is HER

  • I feel so stupid...
