Gonna email these to the Southwark engineers in the morning to show them that we're making use of all the labour they put into the courts...

Brilliant work Kevin!

nice pics kevin, and good to catch up with some of the south crew later at the pub. definitely urges me to get the polo rig back on the road soon.

Yeah good to see you Johnny, come back soon!

We also need to check out that floodlit court in Stabby-Stabby Park that B was talking about... Could be excellent...

Vague recollections of that ^ conversation... @@

Is it in Max Roach Park on the east side of Brixton Road? Skoota has mobile phone pix.
Its got a stand for crowds. South London polo casuals could ruck with the Mitch kids.
-
• #6165
^ That's the one, they've just finished building a new playground up there...
-
• #6166
Fuckin bleechers yo!

Is it open on one side, B?
-
• #6168
no, there is a wall along it.
-
• #6169
Sweeeeeeet! :D
Gonna ride past on my way home, may even pop home and switch bikes/get a mallet..
-
• #6170
I like the low wall... get a good elbow in then push and shout "eat wood chip underling".
Polo love at the back of the bleechers? Ray's special place?
Court looks sound, nice.
-
• #6171
Its a lovely court, same surface as newington. Bleechers are great, only 2 problems, some picnic benchs and a padlock on the public gate. Might be worth speaking to the max roach centre and seeing about access.
-
• #6172
Was just about to post that... ^

If someone can find out a contact detail for the park manager (or similar) then I don't mind doing some leg work for you... equally if you need an LHBPA email address, or some stats, or anything, just shout.

That looks brilliant, loving the spectator area. Good find!
Only 1.1 mile from my dad's house too.
Pity that it is 336 miles from where I am now.

Bad for you, good for your dad.
3 yesses ray.
