That's a very long time to leave your bike outside a tube station, sorry to hear that it got stolen.
There's a topic called "Stolen BIke" where you can post this, it's easier as everyone will see it as oppose to a single topic that'll disappear in the mist of time.

Just saw the Gumtree ad (not a massive fan of the site) and it's worth giving the seller a phone call or even meeting with him regardless of the Google search results.

Sucks, man - I love my Paddy Wagon dearly, but it's a shitter if it gets pinched, because how do you prove it's yours with so many of them about?

Frame number and receipt if its bought new
Particulary important with ubiquitous bikes -
• #16
I can't seem to find the frame number on my Paddywagon. (Go on....judge me). Am I just being stupid? Couldn't find it on my green one either (which rusted through and was replaced without incident). All I see is a big sticker saying that the frame confirms to some regulation or other.
I got them both from Evans and I know it should be on my green folder jobby but I lost that during one of my 3 house/flat moves since then.

@ n3lson
There WAS something down there. I know it sounds suspect but whatever was there is barely legible now. When I tried to insure my old 'Wagon I kept typing that number into various sites and it kept coming back as invalid. I just assumed that I was looking at wrong number and that Evans weren't selling Kona cut-and-shuts.
I guess I'll have to pull my finger out and get it marked, myself. You can see that there WAS something on underside of BB but you can't make out all the numbers.

aaaand... it's gone again. something weird going on here
Hi everyone,
this morning I locked my beloved Kona Paddy Wagon at the bike racks exactly in front of the Shepherd's Bush Station (central line) at 6.50 am.
when I came back from work at 4 pm the bike was disappeared and the mo********er left just one of the bolts of the bike lock.
Funny thing it was full of cameras pointing my bike..
here are the specifics (the rear wheel is on a flip flop hub with the fixed side on):
Brand: KONA
model: Paddy Wagon (2009 version)
color: grey (with white band on the lower tube)
Chain: white KMC half-link chain
pedals: alloy MKS pedals with silver BLB toeclips and white leather BLB straps
a little black Skully LED rear light on the seattube
the rear brake doesnt work properly, it's quite stiff since i don't use it a lot going in fixed
here's a pic with the standard parts:
I fuc**ng love that bike since it has been my first serious fixed ride since i moved to london and also a big investment (almost 500 squids)..
I have used it every day the last year in every weather condition but it's still like new..
If you have any info or had seen it around shepherd's bush or whatever, please let me know.
