we wuz robbed,
dodgy 2nd goal hell...
but we had a couple of chances notably van der vaart hitting the post in spectacular fashion, but he's a ball hog, and too often spends time taking the ball off the back four, when he should be letting modric or jenas do the dirty work, and looking for opportunities to get robbie in with a chance on goal. Keane worked his socks off as he does, but didn't even get close to a sniff with the lack of service coming his way...
Didn't deserve to win the game and despite the dodgy 2nd goal can't have any complaints about the result. Just shows that we have a long way to go to being consistently in the champions league places. Still need to be beating the top teams on the regular, or if not beating them, giving them a good run for their money, which we didn't do on saturday.
only good news from the weekend was city getting turned over by wolves, I think we'll have a repeat of last season with a straight fight between spurs, city, and everton over the last champions league/1st europa league spot.
