They're not really super rare, there's jus not that many of them around because they were quite expensive. Klein did have a lineup uf both road and mountainbikes and even touring and triathlon bikes in different price levels, which could be bougt straight out of the catalogue but also custom built to fit. Even the entry level bikes were top notch, hand built and pretty expensive though. They never made crap when Gary Klein was still in charge, the quality and uniqueness started to disperse shortly after Trek took over.
