About your Gazelle.
I'm pretty sure that the frame number you read is not correct.
Probably not your mistake. Lots of times, these numbers are unclear. Sometimes, the Gazelle numbering is inconsistent.
Could the number be 3288xxx ?
Then:
In 71/72 there were no short Campagnolo dropouts and there was no Gazelle AB
Both were introduced around 1980.
By the paint and decal style, I would say that your frame is from 2nd half of the 80s.
Maybe it's a little bit older, but repainted later.
Anyway. Your Gazelle is nice. Good luck with selling it.
mate,
velobase.com suggests color schema is from 80 but AB frames were made from about 70. nonetheless I start to think that this bike is from 80's and frame number is missing 3 ... i think you were right.
