I lived in the states for near on 2 years and after watching the Iraq war live on tv for the final few months was very happy to leave... It's a shame as there's a lot of good things about the States and a lot of good people, but so many fucking tools like the ones in the tea parties have the money and apparatus to shout the loudest and smear the opposition.
Democracy in the States is really on its knees with the amount of influence corporate lobbyists and the media have so it makes it even more ironic to see them bombing the shit out of people on the premise of spreading freedom.
Would like to think people will eventually wake up but hearing Obama compared to a Nazi on mainstream US tv methinks not.
