This happened to me before. I got a replacement from Condor without any problem. if you still have the two bits of the silver spacer, bring them in and they'll get you a new one. should be pretty cheap as well.
a narrow nut would work, but only temporarily while you get it sorted. you could probably move over one from another track hub if you've got a spare set.
