Ha xander, we were just talking about how much of a bitch those rims are as well. My mudguard came half off about 5 minutes away from the pizza place so rode home with one of its arms hitting my spokes making a fucking annoying noise. Pretty much didn't pedal the whole way though.

Nice try, Jason. I can see that you're trying to pretend that you know maths. Why don't I repost this in the math geeks thread to see what they say, eh? ;)

Good to see everyone last night.
We need to get to pizza earlier though so the fat woman cant fit in. It will be good for her. Mcarthy can eat 3 pizzas because he has ridden from North West West London and is like a rake. Being pushed to Papa Dels then walking from the door inst enough exersize to warrent the sheer amount of food! It is quite fun judging though.

we're so cool
http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/2010/oct/24/bike-snobs-guide-cycling-tribesParticularly enjoyed this description of the similarity between roadies & triathletes:
"Specifically, the area in which the Triathlete and the Roadie are most similar is in their ability to reduce cycling to a fitness-building exercise, suck the joy from it and discard it so all that is left is a desiccated Lycra shell."
And this of recumbent riders:
"Cyclists all notice one another, so when we see something that looks somewhat like a bicycle yet places the rider in an odd position with his feet kicking at the air as if he's defending himself from an attacking eagle, we become confused and disoriented."

http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/2010/oct/24/bike-snobs-guide-cycling-tribesThat's brilliant. I mean, I hate being pigeon-holed, but it's a very thorough analysis and there is lots in there that's spot on. Especially the Beautiful Godzilla!
