For Sale: Chrome Kremlin (XL), Camo

Ordered this off the net, it arrived yesterday, and HOLY FUCK it is big. Huge. Enormous. It's basically a suitcase on your back. Beautiful bag but fucking hell.

I'm going for the next size down - Metropolis or Citizen - and I'd accept a swap for one of these puppies, or 100 of your earth pounds so I can buy one. They're £129.99 from Chain Reaction atm, so it's a FUCKING BARGAIN.

Probably. I never get around to shit like that though, plus it's not ChainReaction's fault I didn't read the size guide. Worth the five seconds it takes to post a thread to find out at the very least.

Oh come on, there's XL (i.e. can fit your shopping in) and there's Chrome XL (i.e. can fit your entire flat in). My last bags were all supposedly XL and they were half the size of this one.

I have a Kremlin.
It is big. But its good big. The only bummer is that you can't ride with it empty because its too big and won't go tight enough, at least not on me, and I aint a skinny emo boy. That said its a good size. Why not ride it abit and then if you don't like go and swap it? I couldn't hack a bag with any less space.

I hear what you're saying. This morning I brought my track pump into work in addition to my usual crap and the Kremlin took it without batting an eyelid, and a part of me saw the appeal of carrying something that huge.

But I also take the thing on the tubes/buses from time to time and I don't think I can justify having something that enormous as a commuter.

It is a great bag though. If no-one buys it here I'll definitely be using the thing until I find someone to swap a smaller one with.

Yep, as Scott says, the problem with the Chrome Kremlin isn't the size, it's the shape and proportions. I note they only list it as 'clearance' on the Chrome website now so am wondering if they are going to stop making it?

Don't get a Citizen, it's too small. You want a Metropolis. I bought a Citizen 5 years ago and have regretted not buying a Metropolis ever since.

that's the problem with one piece bags...they're a totally different shape, size, and fit on your back when empty to when they're full.

Because I figured someone here might be able to make use of it. If it doesn't work out - and it's looking like more of a pain in the arse than it's worth - then that's exactly what I'll do.
