Pre-Tourney in Berlin: 5 games, scored 0:23 goals

    Enough informations?

  • that'll do

  • :p

  • anyone want to go to this last minute? Agata has a spot, and isn't going to use it.. so if you email her quick you can jump in. Gotta be fast though, as i told her to tell the organisers that she wasnt going to make it, as there's a wait list

there are flights going for £128 RTN to Zurich and the train from Zurich to konstanz is 18EUR each way

  • A geneva team is first on the waiting list!!!!!!!!!! YHA!

All the agata's team is down? or do they only need a third?

  • Agata's team is just her

  • ha

  • If this is what I think it is, dibs James'.

  • for those of you going to this, Push have got white (cream?) 700 x 35c schwalbe delta cruiser tyres in stock, for £13 each. i think we've got 8 of them.

First order got snatched up by a bunch of non-Londoners. Just got some more in if needed.

  • Well, my other team mates happened to drop out too, so there was no point holding the spot if none of us is coming.

And i'm afraid the organizers had already been notified, so please speak to them about getting a spot, not to me, i'm not coming back in time to make it to this or to delegate any free spots personally.

    Have fun in Konstanz.

  • Mike, I think most of the Londoners who are going have already gone.

    1. Polosynthese (Frankfurt, Germany)
    2. Vermicelles Shanghai inc. (Geneva/Paris)
    3. Shark Attack (Karlsruhe, Germany)
    4. Call me Daddy (Grenoble/Toulouse, France)
  • How did the Londoners too?

  • l'equipe had greg from MGM

  • And they weren't called L'Equipe.

  • sorry, edited

  • Mark, Rupert and Nick, had to play a playoff with 3P as both had equal points and goal difference.
Really good match, I think 2-2 until the time was gone, then somene shout, GOLDEN GOAL!!
2sec later a straight ball to Mark's BB, ending it all.

Adam, James and Cameron, qualifie and in the first cross they lost again the CCC, good game

Max, Adrianne and Samurai Arthur, didnt qualify

Really hight level tourney, the surpirse was Grenoble, at least for me.
the surface was really slippery, particulary on saturday, reminding everyone about KA, lots of falls, and people taking it really carefull when turning and accelerating.
Manu still the sniper, but David is the new killer and he can handel physical and tough, but only if you can catch him first.

  • Rik is right.
    High level.
Grenouse (grenoble 2/3, Toulouse 1/3) was skeetchy and speedy, William in freewheel is better (less dab'). "Polo" is a great player, and johann is all impulsive and break is material every game. Lovely to saw them play.

David Begin to check people, especially against Toros and Manu, great.

Sad that "Vermicelles" (Aka 2/3 l'équipe, 1/3 MGM) didn't unleash the lion during the final, maybe that the ending should be different.

3P show good polo against Mark, Rupert and Nick. The golden goal was lil' shitty.

Sharks were really good, even if each game they played in last rounds was tight, they shows great shots.

Behind the 2 first teams, i think that a lot of the 16 teams who where into the final bracket was pretty equal. Single elimination is hardcore.

Im trying to put some highlights on vimeo soon.

  • slippery courts are shitty.

  • It wasn't slippy as Karlsruhe.
But some part of the court (2 corners) was...

  • asphalt rules.

  • Yeah, but nice walled and big courts too... that's hard...
The fact was that the floor was a lil bit like in the march tourney in GVA (the indoor part). So it wasn't slippy when he was dry, but the roof had some holes... and the humidity make it shitty.

  • Where'd you get the court barriers from? Were they good/cheap?

(We're struggling to find a good barrier source in London.)

  • Ho, i remeber now that you contact me about that:
In GVA in march we use a Rink hockey court with big wood wall.
In konstanz the wall was half wood (for the barrier) and concrect for the line who bounce the ball on the floor (like 20 cm high), great config'.

For the EHBPC 2010, we use plastic wall from this company:
    http://www.lapati.ch/fr/index.htm
But without plugged them into the concret floor ( <- mistake).
We gonna try to buy them a old one for our every week court.
