  • I've got an 233 MHz AMD K6 computer with 64MB of RAM sat here, and I'm not sure what to do with it. It's not fast enough to run a modern graphical operating system like Windows, but runs Linux or BSD really nicely. It's currently got OpenBSD on it, which runs fine. I just don't have a use for it.

    There are two floppy drives, one 3.5" and 5.25" and an IDE hard disk. There's also a 10Mbps ethernet card.

    I've had it since I was at University, and have upgraded all the internal parts over the years. For most practical purposes it's not useful in the modern world, but there might be somebody out there who'd want it.

    Failing that, any good ideas for getting rid of it in an environmentally friendly manner? Landfill is such a bad idea…
