Dodici lugged frames

  • Does anyone have any experiences with these frames? Build quality etc? They look nice, built with Columbus Zona tubing, and seem to take custom orders. The base price of 500 euros isn't all that bad either. The guys running the company, and building bikes seem very young though. Any input?

  • That site is depressing.
    Shit actually.

  • spoken to one of the blokes at dodici quite a bit after i've paid an interest in getting their 'special' frame.
essentially you can have whatever you want and they seem really eager to please. apparently their frames are made by two blokes in veneto (one does the steel, one does the alu) and they have about 20 years experience between them.
i've noticed that TFG have started stocking some of their bits too.
i haven't actually seen a single bad word about them despite their youth.

  • i'm really happy with my special, custom-size and with the more relaxed carbon-fork due to the brake hole.

  • i ride a veloce frame since 2 years and it's still amazing!
they're very nice guys, the framebuilders have more than 30 years of experience, and i guess they're between the best in Italy...also the price compared to other comanies is very low!
i can say just positive things about them...

  • Guys.
I'm looking for lugged steel frame so I take the Veloce into considerations.
Can anyone comment on the ride comparing to other frames like the Diffiso, **Guerciotti, Trinity Light Blue... **

  • Trinity Light Blue...anyone?

  • I'm also considering a Dodici Special - anyone bought direct from them before?

  • If we are of similar size, by mine and save some money! Search for "Dodici Special" in the classifieds...

I'm asking only £400 with record headset and a ritchey classic seatpost.
