Wicked track, isn't it? Mick Jones lives around my manor (W10/W11). He's totally down to earth and non-starry. He just kicks about like the rest of us, popping into the pub. I had a chat with him outside The Prince Albert a while back, both of us smoking, about the benefits of thermal underwear -v- hot water bottles. It was dead cold then. Top chap, ready for a regular chat.

It's an amazing song that really benefits from playing very very loud, at about 2am on a sunday morning, in a club, with a can of red stripe in one hand, and a marlboro light in the other.....

Marlboro Reds, and it's a deal. I love lyrics (words in general), and they're really cute in that song. Crafty, nice phrasing, off-the-wall, but with some potency. It's a real joy to sing along to.
