I missed the Joy of Essex ride so I'd be keen to partake as long as my chest muscles aren't giving me grief.

I missed Joy of Essex too :(
Would love to come along but I'm a bit unpredictable/useless at the moment!
What time and where you want to set off? Whipps X again? -
• #4
Yup.
May be down with this.
Will check thread, and let you know if I'm a no.
As with jogger...Start time and set off point ? -
• #5
Will keep an eye on this thread too. Put me down as a probably.

Will keep an eye on this thread too. Put me down as having a tendency to wobble.
But not whilst track standing.

'Ouch' and 'aaah yeah' at the same time. I'm feeling mixed emotions.

Also interested. Will await start time deets, pace etc.

All - I've just contacted Peter who ran that ride to find out some info, that was my first ride for a while so don't recall the entire route off hand! If anyone knows that route very well, now's the time to appear!

Thanks nneil! If you could that would be awesome - the bit where you go through high beach is a bit tricky to navigate, otherwise looks pretty straight! How's 10am for a start everyone?
All -PM me and I'll hand over my number if needed

Oh btw meet will be on whipp's cross roundabout by the bus stop (southside) pace will be gentle! I've just been getting back into training rides, it's pretty flat (ish) inclines aren't too demanding, but they will challenge you if you've been out of the saddle like I have for a bit!

might join in but can't get away until 10.30 so would have to catch up somewhere
-
• #16
I'm on for 10am
Where's the list :-)
-
• #17
So, is the route known ?
Keen to ride, but not so keen to do a route where it's stop, start, check the map every 15 minutes.
May just do the E4 route, which I know only too well, but will check back here later to see if there's a leader. -
• #18
are you doing the same route as last week?
-
• #19
Am tentatively in.
-
• #20
This is the outward route. This online system is torture, so this is the best I can do. I know the route and have it in my GPS. I'll be at the start for 10am unless it is really grim. It's the same route as last week and pretty easy to follow.

Great. Phew! Next time I'll make it clear that I wanted to JOIN someone else's ride... Apologies for any inconvenience caused!
-
• #22
So you are going?
-
• #23

-
• #24
I am - unless is really raining

Sorry guys, but i'm gonna stick to a slightly shorter route (30 miles) out much the same way.
Hard ride awaits on Tuesday, so I don't wanna over do it.
I'll be getting a 10.10am train from H Downs to Chingford if anybody fancies it.
Have a good one.
East London around 40-50 miles. The Joy of Essex was perfect as a training ride!
