i'm always wary of joining in when people get all sanctimonious about the blandness of coldplay, or U2 or whatever. really, who gives a fuck?!
not a big fan myself (cos i'm "edgy" yo) but so fucking what if other people do? why should it bother you? i'd be much more upset if half the v-festival crowd suddenly turned up at a white denim or low anthem gig or something.
this is very true. also be wary of people tht answer the question 'so what kind of music do you like' with 'oh i like all kinds of music - rock, pop, jazz, indie... classical' like they're reeling off the shelves at the local HMV store
hehe, i bought some new speakers this week and spent some time trawling reviews (during which i noticed that audiophiles often have terribly bland taste in music) anyway, in one forum a guy was asking for a recomendation for speakers. he said "i mostly listen to jazz and dylan". like dylan is a genre.
