this is very true. also be wary of people tht answer the question 'so what kind of music do you like' with 'oh i like all kinds of music - rock, pop, jazz, indie... classical' like they're reeling off the shelves at the local HMV store. these are the same people that buy compilation albums of secodn rate opera singers doing cover versions of shite bryan adams tracks. spurn them.
