Out of interest, what bars are on the enigma?
-
• #13
F me. That enigma is a £2,500k bike and worth every penny. i own one and it's the most versatile bike i've ever ridden. Fast, tight and forgiving, will take mudguards / 28c / rack / panniers or 23c and you can go for a blast. If it were my size i'd buy it as a spare.
someone is gonna be lucky.

Gabe, bars are Easton but not sure what model!
Fred, well put - I'm sad to leave it but that is the way it has to be!
Also Condor now sold.

will you split the wheels, I'm after a rear wheel???
-
• #16
Admiral, yes I will split if there is a buyer for the front (Cheesecake has expressed an interest). However, I'm also going to have to check with wp750 first as he said he might want the rear.
Also, Enigma now sold.

London Classic, the brake drop is 45mm and the fork has been drilled so can accept a modern recessed brake. This is a good time to mention that the BB is 68mm English, and a seat-post clamp is not provided.
Enigma Etape titanium with Hope III/Open Pro wheels*** SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD
This is a very versatile bike and is flexible, lightweight and made by a small British company. It is a custom design, with a slightly longer head tube (21cm) designed to give a slightly less aggressive posture for longer rides. Essentially it rides like a 58-59, I'm 6"1 and ride it as pictured, the actual seat tube length is c-c 53.
The wheels are Hope Pro III hubs laced to Mavic Open Pro rims and will be supplied with two Gatorskins. Parts are Shimano (105 with Ultegra callipers) and a Selle Italia saddle with Use carbon seat post. Headset is Chris King with Easton stem and bars. Sold without pedals!
I've probably ridden close to 10,000 miles with this bike and there are numerous scratches and marks, checking the bike over today I've noticed the rear wheel is slightly out of true and the bike could do with a clean but structurally the bike is fine.
I'm not going to split and would like to see this go to someone who is going to fully enjoy it.
SOLD
Condor Track Frame SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD
This is a responsive aluminium track frame which has been re sprayed blue with red decals by Winters. The frame has been wrapped in tape ever since I bought it and so has a good beater-ish look about it. Seen about 8,000 miles but structurally fine. The seat tube is c-c 56cm (c-t 60cm) with a 56cm top tube, again a fairly long head-tube at 22 cm. Comes with a ITM head-set and 1" Vitus carbon fork [yes 1"], sold with spacers and a 11/8" shim.
SOLD
Phil Wood/Velocity Wheel Set*** SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD
Rear is double fixed on black non-machined Velocity, sold with Phil cog (18t) and Phil lock ring. Spokes laced alternate black and metallic.
Front is on bare Velocity with machined braking surface
Usual scratches but smooth running, sold without tyres.
(pictured above).
SOLD
***Carlton Frame ***
Old steel 531 frame with a good deal of scratches and spots. It has a 60cm seat tube (c-t 62cm).but is only 57 centre to centre top tube so has a nice tall-ness without too much length! This is obviously an old road frame so has forward facing dropouts and is ripe as a reliable first-build. Comes with Dura Ace headset and the fork has been drilled for a recessed brake (basically a modern one).
