that's pegoretti/indy fab size. what bike was it from?

I got it on the bike radar forum, so couldn't tell you.
Thanks for the info though. I'm having a hard time shifting it, I may have to now get an IF bike for it ;0)

it's a very particular size.
i don't know any other bikes that use that size.
i got mine from singletrack (for my pegoretti) the previous owner had it on an IFi was tempted by yours as mine is the longer 400mm and i'm using on a road bike.
but i'm better off getting the hacksaw out unless you want to swap for a longer post? -

I posted this add on retrobike forum, and someone was very upset that it wasn't longer, actually think he needed 410, here:

somebody out there will want it, you just need to find them :-)
or just use a plastic shim in a bigger sized frame. i used a 27.2 with shim before i got the 29.4
