How do you find the brake hood angle issue on the randonneur bar?

I was setting up an old Marin MTB as a winter bike this weekend and I got a new randonneur bar for it. Didn't get to test drive yet, but got wondering about the hood angle when I installed the the Tektro v-brake drop levers.

You know what I'm talking about? The sideways leaning angle of the hood that is different between randonneur vs non-randonneur bar.

Oh yes I do, that sort of angle right?;

It's fine actually, felt pretty comfortable insofar, hasn't taken it out for a proper ride yet.
