  • New to South London... does anyone play on a monday??

    Yes, in peckham CP. ;)

  • Really keen to start, just posted in your thread Wicksie, anything else I can do?

  • Have replied matey. Check here for what you need in terms of equipment etc. and keep an eye on the beginners thread for casual tap arounds. Or, just throw yourself in the deep end!

  • Can a mod update the first post? Downham should be featured more prominently for Tues and Thurs, Broadway and Peckham should probably be moved to an "other courts" section or something.

And the map links could also be embedded into the text to clean it up a bit more.

    Cheers.

  • also add the tuesday beginners sessions

  • And does that WeLo game still happen on Mondays?

  • at the moment I dont have internet at home, so once I get it (after the London Open) I will do it, or, if any of the moderators wants to do it, please fell free to do it

  • Don't think welo is happening at all!

    At least not regularly.

  • its not =(

  • I've been meaning to organise a Thursday for the last couple of weeks, but my Thursdays have been busy and I can't do the next two Thursdays, but I'll be trying to organise a wests the week after (Thursday after the open)

  • Anyone modified a lacross stick?

  • never seen it, although one of the cambridge(maybe) guys had a field hocky stick.

  • dt had a lacross shaft, it was heavy, hexagonal and looked wicked.

Jamie in Cambridge uses either a field or street hockey shaft. I'm fairly certain he's replaced it once, if at all in two years of playing.

  • I wonder if a bone mallet would work?

Anyone know where I can get giraffe femurs?
