Hi all. Wonder if I could ask the forum some advice.
A friend of mine was knocked off her bike this afternoon near Chelsea Docks. She was on a roundabout, and a car entered directly in front of her path, leaving her nowhere to go but into the side of it.
She's a bit bruised and shaken, and her bike (thankfully her beater) has a couple of scratches on it, but fortunately it looks like there's been no serious harm done. I'm going to make sure she goes to hospital for a check-up, as she said she hit her head, and concussions can be sneaky like that.
The driver(though he didn't volunteer any details) was very apologetic, and said he'd thought she was turning off the roundabout (the dick). My friend just wanted to get away from the scene as soon as possible, and didn't think about reporting it or getting any details.
I've pointed her at the "What to do..." thread for future reference: any point in taking this further, or reporting it, do you think?
