hi guys ive got some pictures of the chainset and bottom of saddle up.
http://picasaweb.google.com/jjkim83/LfgssSale2#as you can see definitely not tip top condition - but not terrible either.
if you guys are still in for this i think the only fair way to do this is go by the dibs order - because although i said first with cash gets it, quite a few people can make it this evening which is the earliest i could arrange.
b&d was the first dibber and told me he could pick up tonight so if i fail to meet him tonight ill let jim and henry know.
henry also said he could come over tonight so if b&d cant pick up and jim doesnt get back to me by say 5 ish, then henry gets it.
hope thats fair to everyone.saddle and frame is (provisionally) sold to MUS
(sorry oller, MUS said he wanted to saddle too when he dibsed the frame so he came slightly earlier than you, ill let you know if he leaves the saddle)Jeremy

saddle and chainset gone, frame and wheelset still available
price drops on both items
hi guys.
got a few bits for sale that might be interesting for some.

no offers
i will take as many pictures as im asked to, so please just ask for a picture of a particular part if you want to see more. viewings are always welcome! im in WC1B - tottenham court road tube.
first person to show up with cash gets the item. so please ask me if an item is still available before you leave to meet me ;)
2. claud butler Jubilee
this is one of those claud butlers that were built before holdsworth took over. frame number indicates that it is a '54 claud.
the model in above catalogue (its a 54 catalogue page)
jubilees were beautifully fillet brazed, and came with those super thin 'pencil' seat stays. wanted to build it up as a classy commuter for a friend but the stupid friend went on and bought an effing 'create'. idiot... so all the stuff ive collected for him is up in the air. dude doesnt deserve a nice bike.
the frame is so elegantly thin and has a sort of a gentle geometry i really think this will look awesome with some shiny box section rims and gum walls (you can find some nice rims in this thread too!)
its 531. not a terribly light frame.
NOTE : forks are not original and look different from original, but is of very close dimensions to the original so works good.
its been painted black at some point think it might have been green originally (you can see bits of green paint under the chipped bits).
its not a top job thats been done to it paintwise but i think its fine as is, i wasnt planning to give it a new paint job, just some period decals from one of those decal places for a couple of quid and it will be job done.
comes with shimano BB and headset which both could use a quick service.
the BB feels pretty grouchy.
ill let it go for 45 picked up.
frame is currently in w10 but could be picked up from wc1b if noticed a day ahead.
NOW SOLD

Velo orange wheelset
serious bling. nice and sturdy, not even that heavy @ 450g/rim.
these are the PBP box section rims, 32h, laced to origin8 hubs, silver, fixed fixed.
you may ask : what the feck is origin8? its just formula. same hubs with different stamps innit.
you would find it hard to believe but these wheels cost me 180 new and im not joking
(seperately bought and paid for building etc.)
afterwards, i realized they were selling for 135 @ freshtripe (although not available anymore, who knows when they will be).
they are in immaculate condition, ive used them on and off for about 200 miles since spring. maybe a bit more. they polish up like mirrors. literally. so shiny it freaks some people out (glare). these are the nicest finished rims around an i love them. just dont have a bike that they will suit anymore.
front is missing 1 track nut, but you can get one for like 1quid.
so asking for 105 minus 1 quid for track nut = 104 special forum price.
tyres tubes cogs not included.
for these i dont feel like pictures are even necessary. wheels look good as new. heres a pic from freshtripe. just add a bit of imaginary dirt here and there. (ill wipe em clean)
ok so they are back in stock from Freshtripe apparently, £135 for a set. this set is not new but is in a very very good condition, hasnt seen the tiniest bit of break block, and always had big cushy tires on them, for the short while it was actually being used.
Im dropping the price to £95. I think thats decent enough. i know its irrelevant but considering i paid close to 180... i cant really lower the price anymore. and based on the 135 freshtripe price i still think its a good deal.
If this doesnt sell within the next 5 days or so i think im just keeping as i wont need urgent money anymore :)
(sorry facius i decided posting is just too much of a hassle)
this is a stock picture from Freshtripe not mine
thanks
Jeremy
