  • I'm twenty stone (I weigh 20 stone that is) so probably do have the legs of Chris Hoy. Its the front end that seems most flexy though, I've got straight bars and I'm always noticing how much it bend when I put the preessure on.

    I'm not keen on Aluminium because of how many people get displaced in the mining of Bauxite (I hope I've spelt that right) and things like the Hungarian toxic red sludge, it seems to me that steel is the most ethical bike material. Am I right?

    What's Titanium like in terms of the energy it takes to process it and the potentially toxic chemicals that are used to process it, how ethical is it?
