Colnago [strike]Competition[/strike] Super, Super Sprint or Superissimo

Seat tube 57 cm c-t
Top tube 56 cm c-c

Old style (1980s) frame & fork, with beautiful lugs & details. Cannot pinpoint exactly what model it is, so either Cromor SL or SLX tubing. See the original brochure here on Bulgier's site. See jpgs 07, 07a & 08.

It has been resprayed in royal(? cobalt?) blue, chrome forks, in superb condition. Only the tiniest signs of use. Mixed but all quality components in very good condition, 9 speed gears.

Beautiful bike! Though I'm traveling at some 300km/h now, I can see that it's in excellent condition. I think this will be gone at once. Not my size, though.

Is the competition a higher spec than the super?

To be honest, I don't know. There's not a lot of info to be found on specific 'competition' models, but it doesn't take a trained eye to see the quality of this particular frame. Looking through the Bulgier pages I'd say it was a Super Sprint before its respray...

more product info: it could also be a super or superissimo. who knows how to tell?
