Tortec Razor Guards

Found these mentioned on another thread but without comment....so....How good are they?....reliable?.....do they stay put?..How do they compare to SKS Raceblades?.......as my bike frame has not enough clearance for the Crud road guards.....any feedback...or advice on these would be appreciated.....

BUMP!

Until 10 minutes ago I had never heard of the brand Tortec. But these seem like decent choice.
Cheap. Plus they let you have tyres up to 26mm, while in the SKS world it seems you must go for XL if you have 25mm tyres.
Anyone experienced these?

25c tyres fit just fine with the regular SKS.

It says you need XL for 25c tyres, as they are using the largest available 25c tyres as an example.

(Yes, tyres of the same 'c' can vary quite a bit in size)

Anyone experienced these? ...

OK, so I bought them and I thought I'd tell the rest of the forum to give these a miss. I have managed to attach them to my daily ride and they work OK I suppose, but there is no way you can get 26 mm tyres with them. The blades are wide enough, but there are some really clumsy large plastic contraptions between the blades and the pins. They will scrape against a 25mm tyre.
I've fortunately got 23mm tyres anyway so I can use them, but on the whole it's a silly silly product.
