They actually look quite nice when you see them in real life without neon laces.

For sure they'll look nicer without the neon.
But the picture does it no favors :(

I like it, on the right bike, with a Brooks, could look good.

Practicality/comfort more of an issue Shirley - too many edges to rub on delicate hands me finks. I like my soft rubber [insert inuendo] tape.

i really like them. put some of the shorter ones on my girl friends bike, think you can do any combo of lace/leather colour you like so don't be fooled by the rather garish image.

Ehh, I kind of like them too! They'd be nice without the neon laces.

These look much better ... but damn, that's one hipster dude.
