http://www.lfgss.com/thread51906.htmland buying a frame from the forum and selling back to the forum for £100 more
http://www.lfgss.com/thread53186.html#post1714807

I'm thinking more of an misunderstood user, he doesn't quite 'get' the community.
He's a nice lad, just a big fan of capitalism.

.I'd say that says more about the seller (if they take the extra) than the gazumper.

I totally agree: plenty of people who PM offering more money after item is dibbed. The famous "I won't tell anyone". They can stick it up their backstabbing arses.

http://www.lfgss.com/thread53186.html#post1714807Agree.
Definitely a bad traders issue since, surely, less people will wish to sell nice stuff/cheap on here if they're gonna see it back on sale for a profit a few weeks later. Even if people don't care/agree about "not in the 'spirit' of the forum' " this sort of behaviour, if it became acceptable will make selling or buying on here nigh on impossible, no? -

bad form by amey, heartless and cold. I won't be buying or selling with this member as a result of his/her actions.

Eventually it will be to the detriment of the forum I agree.

I agreed to purchase a set of Stronglight Mygal cranks from raleigh, 2 weeks ago, and paid the agreed £30 promptly, through bank transfer (on the 2nd October). However; since I've made the payment, he has ignored my emails and PMs, has not logged on to the forum for over a week, and I have not received the cranks. He acknowledged reciept of payment, and the last I heard from him was a PM promising he would post them on Monday 4th October.
Here is a link to the thread: http://www.lfgss.com/thread52077.html#post1680052
If anybody knows him, or has his phone number, I would appreciate a little bit of help sorting this situation out.
Thanks,
Sam -

People I think Amey is just a little muddled, he doesn't see turning a quick buck off peeps selling at mates rates a problem and doesn't seem to get that it offends, but he ain't no Johnybeafeater.
Saying that I won't be doing no sweet deals for him.
With regards to the Eddy I bought off Erikfox, Erik was sterling, had non of the bullshit from the others and waited a week for full payment ( gave him a oner deposit). This behaviour would confuse poor Amey, as Erik and I had not met or even conversed before his sale thread. This happened because of the way the forum is and dudes like Amey won't spoil it. -

amey, as daft as you sound, I think you are well aware that you are currently posting in the Bad traders thread right?
And if you think you can grab bargains and continue flipping them, think again?
