I sold that for £480 on gumtree after all of you guys said it is overpriced + I already a donr and I wouldn't mind giving a one off donation if the frame sells here for £300 -

The frame was bought on here getting a discount via the good will of the forum. The OP has posted threads, asked and received lots of advice from helpful people.
Doing the above and then selling something on at a profit, rather than offering it here first shows a selfish attitude to the forum - ie using the forum to take and not giving back - donanting is obviously good, but it's about more than that.

so making a profit is now not allowed, the herd seem to have missed the point that jonnyrau repeatedly took freecycle items on from various fora and then turned them for a profit.
he would lie to get the items and then make a quick buck.
i am not sure amey has done anything hugely wrong, but to fit in i ought to join the herd and suggest amey be burned at a stake.

isnt this forum about like minded peoples sharing their love of bikes ? anyway selling on ebay has its drawbacks such as paypal /ebay fees and packaging / post hassles so i doubt you will make much .....is it worth blackening your name in the name of £40 profit ?
