Don't bother.. it was more a dig at the anti-Canadian comment..
The point is, people like to eat some stuff they grew up with whether it's better or worse than some other country's food stuffs is irrelevant.

It's Canada Day, which means.... You can try out tastes of Canada in Trafalgar Square. I.e., poutine, Canadian beer, Tim Horton's coffee...
But... Poutine!
(I've never gone to the Canada Day celebrations in Trafalgar Square. This is my fourth opportunity - although, to be fair, the first one was sort of cancelled thanks to those inept NHS terrorists trying to blow up Tiger Tiger - and am slightly tempted)
