  • The builder works fine for me. Just had a quick look at the site, seems cool to me. I'll have a play around later.

  • Well I just tried the bike builder, and it's now working technically for me.

Still weird though... the choices are limited. No Campagnolo Record crank available for the Lavoro?

Also, if choices aren't available instead of greying them out, either hide them or move them and grey them out. Or tell us why they're greyed out. For example if I chose the Pista frame and wanted to go fixed, I apparently cannot choose not to have a rear brake, only when I chose Lavoro could I then choose not to have rear brakes.

Some choices lead to dead ends. The Mavic Open Pro on Condor Hubs leaves no tyres available. Makes it hard to finish the bike. No choice should make it impossible to finish the bike.

    Actually, with this combination:
    Frame: Condor Lavoro 2010 £549.99
Brake Callipers: No Brakes (track use only)£0.00
Chainset: Sugino 75 (black or silver)£199.99
    Running Gear:Condor Supremacy

It apparently isn't possible to put tyres on the bike.

  • Also on the bike builder, building up a Lavoro on Mavic Ellipses, some tubular tyres are greyed out but others aren't.

  • (they should all be greyed out)

  • Looks lovely but many many glitches in the navigation

  • Hey Velocio - cheers for bumping us, you're right we are looking for feedback on some of the issues, because the builder is working from our side.
Clearly the site has been a long time coming and we are still working on it.

Any chance if anyone has a spare minute they could email us webmaster [at] condorcycles.com and tell us your operating system, browser and version, and a screen shot would be ace.
    Thanks, Claire

My advice would be to talk to Carrick etc. at Rapha and have them do your site for you.

possibly a little harsh, it does look good, photography is solid etc.

  • thanks guys. suddenly the builder has not allowed a few people to make choices, we're working in IE version 8, looks like IE 6 is the browser, which is about 8 years old that seems to not run our builder.
ok greying - yep, understood. Going to look at that. too

  • I'm using Chrome on Mac if that helps in any way.

  • The bike builder worked fine for me, including the email thing.

Total price was £7553.77, and the 10% discount very much appreciated.

  • As in, your choices translated onto the image, so you could see for yourself the bike being built? I couldn't see how to choose an option within an option (silver/black cranks, bar tape colour etc) either

helpful to use this page to send your browser details.

site is fooked on firefox on windows 7....

  • I actually never expected the site to be back up.

We haven't included colours as they're the kind of things that can be chosen when you come in for a fitting and to finalise the spec. It's really so you can get a price for the build.

Could you send a screenshot? Seems alright in Firefox here but that's on Vista.

  • Ahh - the joys of developing to support IE6... You have my sympathy

  • it's working fine for me (OSX 10.5.8, fire fox 3.6.10). sorry if that's known to not be a problem.

the bike builder bit is ace.

  • Thanks for the comments and feedback. We're working to get rid of all the issues!

  • The decimal point is one place too far to the right on all the prices. Two places for anything labelled 'Rapha'.

  • I just looked in to see if they still had that stick figure going up hill and was stunned to see anything active at all... bike builder worked fine (OSX 10.5.8, firefox 3.6.10), checked into the Classico... wait til mine (2009 blue) gets nicked and I'll sort out a new one, ahem...

  • Site looks good.

Is it a conscious decision not to have geometry charts or I am alone in wanting to know such things?

  • Not sure I like anything in the 2011 range :/

The new Italia reminds me of Orbeas circa 2006

You're not alone - geometry charts will be available soon!
