Replaceable dropouts sound a bit dodgy to me?
Anyone had any experience of these?
Also, how big is the frame?

You could probs get some dropouts cnc'ed for about £50. By the looks of it you can take off all the bosses too. You could build this into something very nice.

Sacrificial protection. The dropout snaps (and is then easily replaced) rather than the frame in the event of a crash/mech going into the spokes etc...

It is big!
21.5" seatube, 24" toptube c-c
I was going to make some dropouts of ali sheet the same thickness- fairly easy for track style dropoutsand just a bit laborious with a hacksaw and file but a lot less than £50.
Brake bosses are rivited on will so will come off very easily.or move the bosses up a little to take 700c wheels -

Nice high bottom bracket,You will need to remove/move the brake bosses for 700c though. As I said easyily done. The fork is drilled to take cailper brake.
Mountain bike frame For 26" wheels
Unusual early alloy frame about 20" I think,I'll check and let you know.
Really nice condition I was going to make up some track dropouts for it(the dropouts are replacable)should be easy enough with some alloy plate.and have a nice alternative to a Pompino
Change of plan means it is now for sale.
only £70 collect NW London or I will post for £15
