Hello. Been lurking for a little while and this seems like a fun place.

I bought a fish supper once from a chippy called A Fun Plaice. It wasn't fun; it gave me the shits.

Yo all, yet another n00b here.
After my road bike was stolen two weeks ago i decided to go for a fixie/single speed, so i thought that the least I could do was to join the fun here!:-)

Hello
Im new here and have started building my first fixed gear conversion , i joined to hopefully get some advice so that my bike doesnt fall apart on its first outing -
• #3368
Not quite signed up yet as don't have a fixed bike, but hopefully picking it up this eve (off another forum member in fact)
Having never ridden one before, cacking myself about the ride home from Clapham to Putney! Particularly down the hill and into the traffic at the lights on Wandsworth High Street. Or just flip it over and make it single speed. Hmm, what to do (HTFU, i know..)

Hello all.
Another bod just joined the ranks here. Never ridden a fixed gear but my current ride is a single speed P7 which gets me around town and occasionally gets muddy off road too. Alas, I'm not central London but way out west (think M25/M4/M3 interchange - motorway hell is my back garden). Anyone else on the forum from this neck of the woods?

Welcome all. Remember this is is London Fixed Gear and Single Speed. So you don't have to ride fixed to get involved (but it is more fun).

Good work....
Ta,
managed to stay on for a while now though. Daily commute down from South London to West.
Am converted completely. Love it. Legs not quite there yet. Will the knees hold up?
See you at South Easts! Best drinks in London!
