I think that the tone of this forum was set a long time ago, with the simple motto of "Not Cycling Plus".

Since that principle was set, the following growth into what we see here now has been inevitable.

I have watched and participated in that growth and have never, for a moment, wanted that principle to be overturned.

Yes I am proud to be a part of this place.

Yes, I think that, at about this point in our growth, we could do with a nudge toward being a bit more welcoming. But that's fine, it's part of our growth and development. it is right for VB to be the one that starts the nudging. We will do the right thing because, underneath all of the wonderful bullshit, we are a community first, a forum second. A community of good people who would rather help others than hinder.

We have grown and changed in so many ways over the last 3 years and we will continue to do so. It's mostly all good. And that is enough to be proud of.
