Yeah, you looked serious, honking it out the saddle (get a smaller gear) with JG following like a faithful labrador.
Fancy that! Having my own coach on Queenstown Road.
Am I not allowed to be out of the saddle when leaving the lights? -

I spotted Jaygee and VeeVee at the Cycle Show. MrsO commented afterwards that she had never seen me kiss a man before. I pointed out that it was an air kiss and deeply ironic. She wasn't persuaded.
That will explain why Camilla left so quickly :)

No irony on my part, and no tongue because our wives were present.

3 fixed bikes in covent garden without foot retention right now. It's a trend... Being teenslain'd as well.

^ I've seen one similar today at the junction there City Road becomes Pentonville Road.
Fixed, no foot retention, but still had both brakes on. Something new :) -

Jacqui today near bank, whistling as she rode along.
I was AFS (another fucking suit) and didn't yell anything as 1) you were approaching traffic so I didn't want to disturb or 2) I wasn't drunk at that stage of the day.

You were well away from the lights by then, I think it must have been the need for noddy killing, and Jay riding behind shouting.
I don't know how you do that every day, not so much the traffic but sharing the road with those clueless lemmings.

Another surprise was seeing one lady in the morning, riding nice pink and chrome track bike, brakeless, with cup of coffee in one hand!!! Half asleep!! (her words)
Hope coffee woke you up before you had to brake.
What a skill!!! -

Yeah, on the very long and busy Bateman Street!

What a skill!!!Sometimes I end up doing the same thing but generally only when I really NEED the coffee and all doubts about safety are dashed in favour of doing the java jive.

One rule for the rich Ed?

Nothing wrong with that if they have a front brake. I've ridden fixed with no foot retention many times. As long as you don't go downhill too fast I can't see the problem.

What a skill!!!I end up doing this quite often and always forget I can't skid with 1 hand til I nearly get thrown off.

+1
I guess it could only be a problem for idiots.
Old bill lurking on Liverpool st. looking to catch RLJers about half an hour ago which is weird because I didn't think they did that this late. I live SW though so someone with a) a tache or b) no socks on might be able to tell me different.

Some utter bellend on a white trek, white piss pot lid and stupid ear warmers thing going past UCL toward Covent Garden.
Sir - the reason I ride a metre from the kerb is so that I have a safe position on the road. Not so you can undertake me. Also, I don't appreciate you riding inches from me when I'm trying to pass buses so that when I glance round to see if it's clear all I see is your ugly mug in my face.
PS. The red light means stop.

It is indeed and I run them sometimes, but judging by the previous to points it's probably not best to for this fella.

Shoots, Sunday afternoon, Cambridge Heath Road. Lovely day to stretch them legs again. :) Hillbilly and Miss Socks on Bishopsgate on my way back from work this evening. Hey, dudes!
