Change the handlebar and frontwheel and it would be nice. Locking technique is absurd.
and foot retention and back brake?
-
• #13178
The funny thing about the Look is that the stock fork might be illegal for competition use, so the bike seems purpose designed for fixie skidder use.

mcdcc - What's illegal about the fork?

Are the blades too deep?

mcdcc - What's illegal about the fork?
Exceeds the maximum 3:1 cross section in the UCI regulation 1.3.024, it's 54.5 x 17.5 at the top of the fork leg. Since it tapers, most of the length of the fork leg is OK, but a really pedantic commissaire might object to the top few centimetres.

Must be in Japan. I've Heard that they don't really have problems with thieves.
-
• #13183
So why bother even bother putting a lock there if nobodys going to steal it? If you're going to do something do it properly.
-
• #13185
oz you make my presence here redundant with those last two posts. Couldn't have put it better myself.
Edit: you missed the yellow cyclocrosser from the porn thread though, its a pile of shit.
And @ boredom you're right I didnt notice the back brake there, that's anti too. But the foot retention meh, what are you gonna do if you don't want clipless. Not pretty but very functional.

Somebody had to do it. I quite liked the yellow CX. Ok it had a shit brake system but the frame and the rest of the setup was nice
More integrated lock fail

^^^^^^That thing at the top of the page is the worst bike I've seen in a long time. I can't bring myself to quote the photo again.

That cable is way too tight for "mad spinz"
needs one of these innit
If you look, the lock is in the nook of the QR. Maybe it is the perfect size so that when he put's there, you can't undo the skewer. Thus preventing opportunistic hipsters striking gold.
The spinergy/yellospok combo on the vigorelli just behind is worse imo

that stainless indy-fab is lovely, can't see the problem with it.
those 2 hipster clown bikes are grim.

More integrated lock fail
I don't understand these crazy lock systems. Why would anyone want that thing sticking out the side? At least integrate it into the head tube with some bungies as a front rack or something.
-
• #13191
Yeah or just use an integrated tt bar/lock:
err actually nevermind.

• #13193
check those welds
Yeah, look at that shit. Looks like the kind of thing you could buy for under £400 complete. Oh, hang on...
-
• #13194
Yeah think of all the extra weight and wind resistance of those welds.
-
• #13195
Jesus fucking christ, put the bars on properly..
This one is a repost.. but it's just so amazing...

I know this is going against the grain, but that's nearly amazing* imo. Just swap the silver for black and maybe a different saddle.
