I'm kinda plagerising the idea from an article I read about someother stupidly light bike with purpose/custom built componants, but I agree with it.
The point is to push the boundaries, to show what is possible. These type of inovations then trickle down. MT lots of valid points as usual, but they're all eg of where if you were doing it for any reason other than pure lightness you would make those changes wouldn't you.
Anyway, I think it's a amazing effort and probably porn.
