  • Don't know why the interest has dropped, there were loads of people interested last week.
Seeing as nothing has been sorted, I'm going down to Mile End at around 2 I think.

For the guys who just want to skate flatland, there's plenty of that and some small curbs to practice on. I'll probably be spending most of my time around here if there's more of us etc...

The weather looks great, so lets get out and have a roll around!
Look out for a green bike and a guy with long brown hair swearing at his board (AW Blue/Pink stripes with white trucks). Just come over and say hi...

Hope to see some of you there.

  • Ill try and drop by. If you see a guy roll up on a pink Aende, thatll be me
If anyone still fancies a whitechapel sesh this evening, give me a shout on 0doubleseven9four127doublenine6

  • white chapel, could be up for that. I only got up half an hour ago!!!

  • Definitely up for whitechapel.
Apologies monsta, was on my way down to mile end but had an epic puncture fail (turns out my spare tube wasn't a long valve) and had to limp down to look mum on a very partially inflated tyre.

  • My bike still isnt running yet! Whereabouts in white chapel you thinking?

  • Not sure really, someone said sainsburys don't know where it is though

  • yeah I have no idea where that is. There is the matalan in dalston? very open and smooth.

  • Ohhh guys!!!
Had a wicked skate! 3 Years of not skating has taken its tole. The first 20 mins was odd but got the 360 flips back and did the best hardflip I've ever done (the proper way, not the Muska shovit way!) took like 30 attempts though.

Mile End has a smooth path at its entrance with no-one really walking by. This is where I got warmed up, it also has a bridge for wet days. Lots of people were just practicing tricks on flat etc...

We'll have to do it properly, I was looking forward to meeting some forum guys :(

    @CK, shame about the puncture...

  • landed a hard flip?? nice one!! I didnt even know how to do them back when I could skate proper. Any people up for matalan? We will do a proper meet up for sure.

  • Matalan in dalston is cool, where abouts is it?

  • the kingsland shopping centre, might be a bit late now though? I have been hungover and useless today!

  • I'm super tired/hurting from polo, out for today.

  • Nevermind pretty tired too now, could do an evening this week?

  • I could be up for a quick weekday session. Not on Thursdays though..

  • yeah man of course. There is dalston ledges too, smooth and a big long ledge thing

  • Hows about Dalston tomorrow or Wednesday?

  • i can do dalston tomorrow. something to keep me away from beer!

  • Cool, 7ish? Or is that too late?

  • I might be up for a skate in dalston tomorrow. will keep eyes on the boards

  • nah not too late for me man!

  • Right then, 7 at Dalston Matalan it is

  • Safe. I guess I will prob be the only guy there, so it will be obvious who I am.

  • Haha, fair point

  • does anybody remember the tiny wheels people rode in the very early 90s? I always wanted a set and a double kick deck. I know a lot of skaters feel they are pointless, but I would quite like a set! I cant find them anywhere on the net. I understand they dont produce these anymore, but I thought there had to be somewhere selling them dead stock? They were literally like 35mm!!
