The batteries are fine.
I got them from ebay - here - http://shop.ebay.co.uk/big_f_d_d/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p4340 £7.99 for two. None in stock at the minute though.
I've had no problems, and the run times are good for 4hrs ish on full power.
