I'll take a pole off your hands if that's cool? New to all this. Never played polo before but fancy giving it a go. Thought I'd try and sort a mallet before coming along to Preston Park. I'm in Brighton a couple of times a week so could collect.

What is the opinion of these poles? Thanks.

hey rich, alejandro (gponx) is the man to speak to, he markets and sells the 'perro del mallet' aluminium shafts. he did a bulk order for london, manchester and cambridge recently, and the approximate cost for 11 shafts is less than a tenner per pole delivered. obviously this cost goes down with more poles (shipping is the same cost to a point).
i think the fact people are buying more off him is a testament to the quality!

You da man! Thanx for the good word.
Yeah, Perro del Mal(let) are the bees knees. But don't worry, we are currently working on a London distro. In any case, PM me.

Sanyi, yeah, the LHBPA may start distributing these shafts soon, but it's unlikely we would start shipping them elsewhere, it's a lot of hassle, and by the time you add our markup, and another set of shipping costs, you are better talking to gponx directly. If of course you wanted to pick them up in London, or can arrange someone to bring them to Bristol for you then it's no problem. Anyway, it's not confirmed yet that we will do it.

6,NB. Apols didnt know this wasnt on polo forum.... Mods can move if they want.
been working away at a french ski resort for the past 2 weeks and managed to get my hands on a job lot of ex rental ski poles. thinking that some of you guys might be interested in them to use as mallet shafts. Everyone knows that ski poles make the best shafts for polo mallets.
one of the poles i have is length adjustable this would prob be good as a spare at your local game for newcomers to use who dont poses a mallet yet.
ive got loads of them all adult size with plenty of length most are a bit battered but does it matter if its a polo mallet?
£5 each shipped
send me a pm if your interested. cheers.
