Jonny's Ebay dealings make interesting reading;
In July, he sold a Tag Heuer Carrera Watch box for £40 - didn't he try to sell a Tag Heuer on here ?
In May, he sold a 1950s Oris Vintage Date Pointer Watch - I wonder if it really was a '1950s' & 'vintage'.
I see that he bought a pair of jeans - MENS DIESEL JEANS 30W 28L - he would certainly have known that the Dawes Galaxy was too big ! Oh sorry, it was for his 'brother'.

*PJ on retrobike:
he's a total freak, seriously, gets some sort of weird thrill from ripping people off, including community bike projects, then brazenly lying about it afterwards. it's kind of depressing. at the same time i can't help but feel that life is going to deal him a seriously bad set of cards at some point soon, that's how these things tend to work. you can't keep pissing on people's strawberries, sooner or later one of them comes back and cut your tiny cock off. the layer of plurality with the online identities is sociopathic, and unbelievably over the top – and really strange. i was joking about the schizophrenia earlier, but this is so way out i can't even begin to fathom the thought processes. on top of that, i suspect this douchebag is a filthy rich student, probably enjoys the whole process, sees it as some kind of intellectual game to while away the time when not playing world of warcraft for 34 hours a day, fucked-up oneupmanship of the highest order. he'll rot in a financial cesspool of his own making. it's not like the extra few pounds are going to buy any friends or make a difference. and if he does turn up in bristol – or in london – or if henry t or anyone at the oxford bike project get wind of it – do us all a favour and weld him into the rear triangle of a leader frame, then stick it on ebay for a knock down price. *I miss PJ…

John-The Guv'nor. Retrobike
"Anyhow the point was eventually made moot because jonnyrau requested to be banned. Sadly a ban means a ban. Re-registering with another ID also means a ban. So I guess you're banned twice if not three times. Please don't re-register because I'll just ban you again, I'm sure others will PM me if you do."

I've messaged John about the Retrobike thread as I wanted to clear up a few of the inaccuracies stated their by Jonny / Roberts / Lopro, but the thread is now locked. Hopefully the follow that I messaged him with up will be added by someone who has mods powers on there. I'm going to paste it in here too as I want to keep everything out in the open and plain for all to see.
As follows...
*Hi,
My name is Adam. I work at the Bristol Bike Project. I was trying to reply to Jonny Lau in his recent Thorn listing thread that he posted under the name Roberts but have found it locked. If you have the power to add anything to that post please can you post the following from me in case he is checking back there. I'd like to clear up a few of the inaccuracies he stated about the situation between him and the Bristol Bike Project.
Hi Jonny,
Adam here from the Bristol Bike Project. We've been in touch via PMs on the Trackdropouts forum and met a couple of weeks ago when you came in to the workshop at the time you acquired the Campagnolo Bottom Bracket and Shimano crankset etc from us. Just to clear things up in case there's still any misunderstanding...
I have mentioned to you in my PMs that we'd appreciate it if you returned the components you got from the workshop. If you want to give a donation for the workshop use and our help fitting those components than that is up to you too. I have informed you that we do not have a Paypal account and that donations are usually made when in the workshop simply by putting any money you wish to give into the pot. Both Jamie and myself invited you back to the workshop a few days ago but you didn't make it along.
So once again, we'd appreciate it if you'd like to return the components. The components were fitted to your bike under the impression that they were for you to get use out of. We're not in the habit of supplying people with parts with the intention of them being sold for profit on ebay etc. We could quite easily sell for profit through ebay ourselves but choose not to as it's not what we or the community around us is about. Any donations or money we accept go towards covering the rent and keeping us sustainable as we receive zero funding and it's a totally volunteer run setup.
If you have any questions please contact me. Please also let me know when you will be visiting the workshop to return the components.
Thanks,
Adam
PS. For others following this saga, this whole situation is something completely outside normal occurrences at The Bristol Bike Project and to be totally honest something we could really do without. In the couple of years we've been running we've been overwhelmed with the good nature and enthusiasm of everyone who has been involved with the project and really pleased that it has continued to run so well. For anyone wanting to know more about the Bristol Bike Project please visit our website at www.thebristolbikeproject.org and watch the short doumentary film at http://vimeo.com/9469007
Also, if anyone gets time then please help keep our friend (originally a service user and now co-volunteer), Abdul Aziz (featured in the film linked above) from imminent deportation back into the hands of the Taliban and most likely a violent death by signing the petition at http://www.petitiononline.com/A1359943/petition.html
Many Thanks, Adam*

Jonnyleafeaterliamloprocyclotonrobertsandyourbrother give the parts back to the project, make a donation for wasting valuable resources and the time given by people far more generous than you can clearly understand. If you get a shoe'ing on the way, well tuff tits you cunt.

The Bristol Bike Project sounds like an amazing initiative, the film is really good. Respect to you guys for the work you do and supporting asylum seekers, especially highlighting the hardships that asylum seekers suffer due to the policies of successive British governments. Consider the petition signed. For someone to obtain parts by deception from such a charity in order to sell is beyond belief.
Anyway Johnny boy, looks like another avenue for free parts has been shut off. Your business empire is crumbling quicker than Robert Maxwell's, he probably said he'd make it up to the people he ripped off too.

The Bristol Bike Project, and (possibly, more importantly) the case of Abdul Aziz, does not deserve to be hidden in a thread about jonnyshitleafbot.
Can we show the video (above) at the Cycle show? -

My saga with the cnuts at Deal Extreme goes on and on. Summary - battery failed in £60 rechargeable lights after 3 months of little use. Refused to honour warranty. After legal action threat, agreed to supply new battery for $20; paid. No battery ever sent to me. Then tried to fob me of with "store credit note" in respect of the lot; F off with that. Refused to provide address for service of legal documents, ignore correspondence etc etc. Further legal threat today elicited response of "send it back to Hong Kong (at my expense) and will refund/replace". Yeah right, just like the battery eh? All this been going on over some 9 weeks.
Utterly horrid company to deal with, having no integrity whatsoever. Beware.

Defrauding a project like this is disgusting. I didn't realise there were such generous people/organizations out there, let alone people looking to take advantage of them.
Ronnie Jau - your behaviour is shameful.
signed the petition, number 448. How many does he need?
