Unless you've got witnesses it'll be your word against his. I doubt the police can do anything anyway - no harm was actually done.
I'd write to the management detailing the incident (even just copy your original post), but making no mention of intent to take matters further. That way, they'll probably feel obliged to apologise formally and issue a warning to the driver. Hopefully that will encourage him to drive more considerately so that another cyclist doesn't suffer your experience - which I guess is what you're after at the end of the day?
If you're worried about comeback (seeing as they're down the road), I'd be temptedto leave it. You've already made a bit of a scene at the office - that in itself is probably enough to make him think twice next time?
