Well... why is the chain changed then? Don't get me wrong, I don't mean to imply that the bike is not a good deal or that it's not in a good shape. But I just wonder why it had to have the chain changed.

Adipe it's just a matter of course a nice shiney new chain is much easier than cleaning the 32 year old one, which can be supplied too if required. Surf239 you have pm.
