What a brilliant name. Not quite as keen on the bike though.

What's not to like? Want something sensible for cracking liverpool - leeds and other canal runs at a decent pace.

Think it's the colour more than anything, are they bright green with black forks? Tis' definitely perfect for canal rides..
You done Leeds-Pool? Two of my mates did it last year, one of them on an old racer with 23's.. eedjit.
Sounded like a right crack though.

There're a few different colour ones, to be honest not that fussed about colour if I can pick one up cheap.
I attempted it, was a disaster. Was solo, got to the canal at liverpool end about 10:30 just as it started raining. In short, ended up crashing into the canal, stung by a bee on my knee which swoll up, mechanicals and torrential rain all day. Made it just past burnley when it was getting dark so cut my losses and jumped on the train. Next time I will check the weather before hand, and get an earlier start... not sure about a life jacket though.
Oddly excited about doing it a few times this summer, it's a great ride (from what i saw)
I like the colour?

Prefer that to the one I have seen..
Ouch, sounds like a nightmare, and nobody want's to get stranded in burnley.
Need to get on some longer rides now the sun is sort of beginning to rear it's head, haven't done anything over 10 miles for months..

do you live in leeds?
I had a great ride yesterday, rode to meet some mates for coffee in headingley then decided to keep riding, ended up heading along the canal east out of leeds centre, really scenic route. not really suited to my fixed bike though a bit bumpy/muddy in places. Rode about 10 miles out then back.

Indeed I do.
Haven't headed far east on the canal since childhood bike rides with the rents.. Them's were bmx days though, a long time ago..

I did some it just before I left Liverpool. Absolutely brilliant ride!! I was gutted I didn't find out about this route until so late in the day. Would love to do it again.

Been considering as well trying it fixed - but 127 miles is a fair distance, and it's pretty bumpy in places.
Multi Grooves, I take it you're down south now? How about the Reading to Bath canal route? Looks pretty nice, only 84 miles though.

We are doing Oxford to London in March.....multimap puts its at 140 miles....thats going to be tough!
I wanted to do it in 2 days and enjoy it, but its got to be a one dayer now due to someone else's commitments......my hoop will hurt after that one! -

Yup, I'm back in the smoke now. 127 fixed?? Not sure about that. I'm looking to build a road bike for these kinds of ride. I'm gonna put the full leeds ride in the memory bank though..

Is this still for sale?

I have this bike for sale but its not in green but in red & white very nice to ride got given it for my 21st only used it a few times but it spends the Moriarty of the time in my shed collecting dust I would rather some one use it as it one of the best racing bikes I've ever had very light very nice comes with a drink holder & a bike rack. I had a lot of time on my hands and in that time I cleaned it to the best of my ability. But there are some tiny tiny chips on the paint work but other than that the bike is at its prime I will attach a photo to this so you can see but the photo is older so it does not have the shine to it that it does now but that will not effect it. I'm looking for around the same price ( £500 - £600 ) pounds. I think the retail price is about £700 - £800 brand new. I will also throw in my off road glasses ( Nerocorsa which are about £40 bran new. I hope I'm able to sell it to some one who will be able to look after jake!
