SKS Chromplastic vs Bluemels

I have no experience with proper mudguards and was just wondering if someone could answer two simple questions.

1 - What is the difference between the two?

2 - Which ones would fit best to a genesis day one frame, has v brake rear but the bridges have bosses on them
