amen to that my nubian sister. and to be fair, i take my share of the responsibility what with stepping out minus a toolkit in my back pocket - spose in the back of my mind i harnessed my hopes to the not entirely unreasonable expectation that in the event of a minor mechanical meltdown, the hospitable, good natured and much appreciated service a good 99% of lbs's proffer with a smile will come to my rescue, a service im sure we've all partaken of more than once in our time on the roads - obviously this isnt the case when it comes to the brixton branch of halfords. tho they do have a fine selection of pine-scented air fresheners.

edit - ps. this whole messy situation coulda been avoided if brixton cycles was sodding well open of a sunday! ;)
