Catfood, you were probably being a resonable guy asking a not unreasonable request. But, as someone who also works at a bike shop in Brixton, we get a lot of screamers, demanders and our fair share of the self entitled.
I have been less than my friendly self to the dude who came in to ask for something after the dude who came in to scream until he got free shit, and I'm paid well and care about my job.
I'm sorry to hear you got the fall out from someone who, and let's be honest, isn't paid enough to care on a day when you were less prepared than you should have been. But it happens, I don't know if I personally would go on an Internet forum to bitch about it, but here we are.
Let's move on, possibly a little wiser about punctures, customer service and expectations.
