I saw a company the other day who had made a blatant copy of my rosie pouch...it's just the way things are when you can't patent things for whatever reason.
the sad fact is that, as a designer, unless you find something patentable (a mecahnical mechanism, a manufacturing process or a material) your brand (and associated trademark/label) is the only thing you can forcibly protect. If this wasn't the case then we wouldn't have highstreet goods at affordable prices for the masses.
